In the form of German Renaissance haufebechers, each cylindrical on spreading foot cast with cartouches centred by a depiction of the signs of the Zodiac framed by military trophies, the lower part of the body chased with ribbon-tied foliate swags, the rims cast with scenes depicting the seasons, engraved underneath with crest and Royal Duke's coronet, marked on bodies

The Royal crest is for Prince Adolphus Frederick, 1st Duke of Cambridge (1771-1850), seventh son of King George III of Great Britain and Ireland.
