SEHR FEINE IKONE MIT DEM TEMPELGANG DER GOTTESMUTTER Russland, Nowgorod, um 1500 Einzeltafel mit einer Rückseiten-Querleiste. Kowtscheg, Eitempera auf Kreidegrund. 28,5 x 22,5 cm. Rückseitig Ausstellungsetiketten sowie Inventarnummer 'A26'. Vor stilisierter Architekturkulisse mit rotem Baldachin schreitt Maria in Begleitung ihrer Eltern Joachim und Anna in den Tempel. Sie werden von einer Hebräerin mit Kerze in den Händen begleitet. Die Gottesmutter als Kind steht vor Zacharias. Sie streckt beide Hände dem Hohepriester entgegen, der sich mit ausgestreckter Hand zu ihr hinabbeugt. In der oberen rechten Ecke verkündet der Erzengel Gabriel der Gottesmutter die jungfräuliche Empfängnis des Gottessohnes. Nach einer Erzählung zweier apokrypher Schriften geloben Joachim und Anna ihre Tochter Maria als eine der Tempeljungfrauen im kindlichen Alter von drei Jahren in den Tempel einzuführen. Das Fest selbst findet sich im orthodoxen Kirchenkalender am 21. November erst Mitte des 12. Jahrhunderts. Darstellungen mit dem Thema des Tempelgangs Marias setzen sich in der Monumental- und Ikonenmalerei nach dem Bilderstreit im 9. Jahrhundert allmählich durch, um sich im Hochmittelalter allgemeiner Beliebtheit zu erfreuen. Als Ereignis im Heilsplan Gottes erhalten die Ikonen des Tempelganges dann auch in der Festtagsreihe der Bilderwand (Ikonostase) ihren festen Platz. Farbe de Hintergrundes und Randes abgenommen. The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
