ALDROVANDI, Ulisse (1522-1605) - Dendrologiae naturalis scilicet arborum historiae libri duo. Bologna: G.B.Ferroni, 1668.

A uncut copy with wide margins. Dendrology, the only work of this subject by Adrovandi, is the science and study of wooded plants (trees, shrubs and lianas); it may be considered a subcategory of botany that specializes in the characterization and identification of woody plants.

Engraved title by Lorenzo Tinti, numerous woodcut illustrations, some full-page, typographic correction glued at leaf A6 (title with straight margins rather than uncut, reinforced at the upper corner and at the lower margin with small loss at the top right corner, without first and last blank, in some copies - not this one - the first is an half-title, H1-H3 with repaired little tears on the outer margin, I3 shorter at the outer margin, 3N1 with repaired tear touching text, occasional light browning and spotting).
