[ASTRONOMIA] - Manoscritto astronomico. Italy: 1650.

An interesting astronomical manuscript, richly illustrated, which opens with a large folded map depicting the "Sistema, ovvero figura del mondo secondo l’optione antica" followed by a generalist treatment of the solar system, the earth and the zodiac. The respective characteristics and motion of the moon, sun and planets and the influence of these in the fields of medicine, agriculture, fishing and hunting are then described in detail. The second part is dedicated to the construction of sundials and opens with a geometry section to culminate with the indications for the construction of different types of sundials. The dating can be seen on p. 16 of the first section where the author writes "quest’anno santo del 1650 ne abbiamo l’iniditione".

(235 x 170mm). A large plate folded several times, a double page table, 38 text leaves with numerous illustrations, tables and diagrams written in red and black (some slight tears on the folded paper, occasional slight stains). Modern half-vellum.

First of all, you should register to be able to purchase at auction. After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
