Tapered cylindrical with molded base band and mid-rib, later engraved on the front with script monogram JPT in wrigglework ribbon cartouche, the stepped domed cover with baluster finial and scroll thumbpiece, the scroll handle with baluster drop and convex oval terminal, marked left of upper handle terminal HOMES in an oval (Kane mark A), the cover marked WH in a rectangle (Kane mark G)
