Title: Ingeborg von Rath.
Date: 1929.
Technique: Vintage. Gelatin silver print with black India ink edge.
Mounting: Original rear card with glassine cover sheet.
Depiction Size: 17 x 11cm.
Sheet Size: 34,5 x 24,5cm.
Notation: Signed and dated on rear card. Print with photographer's embossing stamp.


Condition:
Photograph in very good condition. Rear card slightly discoloured, along the edges partly discoloured spots. Glassine cover sheet minimally wavy as well as with slight traces of handling and minor tear in upper left corner.

Provenance:
- From the portrayed to the consignor
- Private collection North Rhine-Westphalia

In ca. 1929 Ingeborg von Rath and August Sander were in close contact with each other. Testifying to this is, beside preserved correspondence between the sculptor and photographer, a series of portraits of Ingeborg von Rath taken by August Sander.
