One page, 11" x 8.25" (faded, creases, a few stains). With transmittal envelope.

A document in which Thomas Edison agrees to sell Stephen F. Moriarty 2,500 shares of stock of the Edison United Phonograph Company of New York. Moriarty was a manager at the Phonograph company and was deeply involved in the business and legal operations. The relationship between the two men would eventually turn, with Edison breaking ties following numerous business disputes.
