PRESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES – A collection of documents signed by thirty-one Presidents of the United States from George WASHINGTON to Herbert HOOVER, together with documents signed by Harry TRUMAN, Dwight D. Eisenhower and Lyndon B. JOHNSON, all accomplished during their respective administrations together with prints and photographs of each subject, various places, 1795 to c. 1965.

Housed in an extra-illustrated album with illustrations of each president, bound in red morocco (binding loose, and spine and boards separated, documents mostly clean and overall fine condition).

A fine collection of documents, all signed as President. The collection includes: George WASHINGTON (1732-1799) D.S., [Philadelphia,] 7 November 1795. A three-language ship's paper additionally signed by Edmund RANDOLPH as Secretary of State and Joseph MILLER as Collector for the Port of Salem. * John ADAMS (1735-1826). D.S., Philadelphia, 20 July 1799. A naval commission appointing John Bullus a surgeon. Countersigned by Benjamin STODDERT. * Thomas JEFFERSON (1743-1826). D.S., [Washington,] 4 April 1805. Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
