Elle est notamment augmentée d'une seconde partie : Douze propositions pour passer plaisamment et honnestement les jours des quaresmeaux, précédée d'une page de titre et datée 1625. On y dénonce les plaisirs sensuels qui transforment l'homme en bête, voire “en sale pourceau” et conduisent à la peine éternelle dans l'autre monde. Belle impression provinciale de Charles Boscard, deuxième imprimeur établi à Saint-Omer ; actif de 1610 à 1627 à l'enseigne de la maison Loyola (Labarre, Répertoire bibliographique du XVIIe siècle, XX, Saint-Omer, 1996, n° 243). Originaire de Saint-Omer, moraliste du Grand Siècle, plus proche de l'ascétisme que de la gaudriole, le père jésuite Antoine de Balinghem se consacra tout entier à la prédication et à l'enseignement. Vicaire se méprend lorsqu'il mentionne : “ouvrage facétieux et plaisant contre le vice d'ivrognerie et les ivrognes”. Pour mieux stigmatiser l'intempérance et les excès de table, le Jésuite pratique la maïeutique, cet art d'accoucher les esprits. Les dialogues confrontent les points de vue du médecin, du théologien, de l'historien ou du philosophe, émaillés d'une foule d'anecdotes parfois plaisantes. The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
