Dezember 1670 Amsterdam BILDNIS EINES SITZENDEN JUNGEN MANNES IN SCHWARZER ROBE, UM 1660 Öl auf Leinwand (doubl.). 123 x 96 cm (R. 132 x 105 cm). Part. min. altrest. Rahmen. Beigefügtes Gutachten von Dr. Walther Bernt vom 24. Mai 1952: Bernt schreibt: 'Das Ölgemälde auf Leinwand .... Herrenportrait, dreiviertel Figur, in einem rot bezogenem Stuhl nach rechts sitzend, mit dem Blick zum Beschauer, in der Linken einen Brief, die Rechte mit sprechender Geste, langes brünettes gelocktes Haar, schwarze Robe, im Hintergrund ein geraffter Vorhang mit einem Wappen links oben - ist ein einwandfreies, charakteristisches und sehr gut erhaltenes Werk des Amsterdamer Bildnismalers Bartholomeus van der Helst 1613-1670 aus der Zeit um 1660. Man kennt eine ganze Reihe übereinstimmender Bildnisse gleicher Grösse. Vielleicht ist das vorliegende Gemälde identisch mit dem gleich großen Herrenbildnis der Auktion Rochehousseau in Paris am 5.5.1873 Nr. 85, das im Oeuvrewerk von J.J. de Gelder, B. van der Helst (1921) unter Nr. 396 aufgeführt ist.' The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
