Bon exemplaire réunissant deux bibles richement illustrées, sobrement relié par Chambolle-Duru. L'organisation de l'ouvrage s'inspire des livres d'emblèmes - un format réduit, chaque page présentant une vignette gravée dans sa partie supérieure, suivie d'un court texte. Brun, p. 133 : "les compositions, tout en s'inspirant des suites précédemment parues, présentent une réelle originalité. Elles sont exécutées avec habileté et élégance" ; Baudrier, IX, pp. 331 et 361.

2 livres en 1 vol. in-8 (159 x 107 mm). 269 et 160 vignettes à mi-page, gravées sur bois d'après les dessins de Pierre Eskrich (la seconde partie sans le dernier feuillet blanc, le dernier feuillet de texte restauré en marge inférieure, très rares piqûres). Marque de l'imprimeur sur chaque page de titre, la première avec encadrement gravé. Reliure de Chambolle-Duru en maroquin brun janséniste, tranches dorées sur marbrure.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
