Rare collection complète de cette bibliothèque portative "pour dames", en reliure uniforme et coffret de voyage de l'époque. Nous n'avons recensé qu'un seul autre ensemble complet passé en vente publique sur les bases de données accessibles en ligne. S'adressant à des femmes qui recherchent dans l'étude "un moyen de plaire par des charmes que le temps ne flétrit pas", l'éditeur entend présenter "une Bibliothèque formée des chefs-d'oeuvre des écrivains grecs, latins, françois, anglois, italiens, espagnols, allemands", dans "les traductions les plus estimées". La publication se fait en livraisons de trois volumes, d'abord à l'adresse de Le Fuel puis de Payen. Poétesse appréciée de Napoléon Bonaparte, Madame Dufrénoy fit également paraître des recueils de poésie érotique. Quérard, II, p. 646.
36 vol. in-18 (127 x 77 mm) dans un coffret de voyage (375 x 340 x 114 mm). Illustré d'une gravure en frontispice et d'une vignette de titre pour chaque volume. Reliure uniforme de l'époque, signée Masquillier : veau bleu-vert foncé, encadrement doré et décor à froid sur les plats, dos à nerfs orné doré, pièces de titre et de tomaison en maroquin rouge, tranches dorées. L'ensemble des volumes est conservé dans un coffret de voyage en forme de livre, signé du même relieur : maroquin rouge, double encadrement doré et guirlande dorée en encadrement central renfermant un losange au chiffre doré A.H., dos à faux nerfs orné à froid et doré, intérieur matelassé présentant un double compartiment. (Coffret frotté avec manques aux coins et aux coiffes, charnière supérieure fendue)

First of all, you should register to be able to purchase at auction. Auctions are performed by auction houses and each of the auction houses describes their terms of auction. You can see the texts in the section "Auction information".
The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
