Exemplaire en maroquin rouge aux armes de Louis XIV. Médecin, Nicolas de Blégny lança plusieurs périodiques, dont Les nouvelles découvertes sur toutes les parties de la médecine à Paris en 1676 et le Zodiacus medico-gallicus à Genève en 1681. Dans cet ouvrage, il rappelle aux chirurgiens l'obligation de signaler toute suspicion de crime et leur explique comment préparer une présentation d'expert devant le juge. L'exemplaire est enrichi d'une note manuscrite en fin d'ouvrage, décrivant notamment l'aspect d'un corps suite à un décès par noyade. Relié à l'époque en maroquin rouge frappé des armes royales de France, il présente aussi, en lettres d'or, l'ex-dono de l'avocat rouennais Auguste Le Chevalier. In-12 (149 x 88 mm). Édition originale. Bandeaux, lettrines et culs-de-lampe gravés. Annotations et passages soulignés à l'encre brune, note manuscrite en fin d'ouvrage, 1 p. sur 1 feuillet. Reliure de l'époque : maroquin rouge aux armes de France (O.H.R., pl. 2494, fer 10), triple filet doré en encadrement, fleurs de lys aux angles, dos à nerfs, caissons ornés de fleurs de lys, dentelle intérieure dorée, tranches dorées. Provenance : reliure aux armes de Louis XIV (1638-1715) -- sur le plat supérieur, frappé en lettres d'or, "EX DONO D. D. A. LE CHEVALIER". Il s'agit vraisemblablement d'Auguste Le Chevalier, avocat Rouennais né en 1709 -- ex-libris non identifié portant les initiales "JM".

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
