Ovale sur quatre pied-griffes, ciselée d'arabesques et coquilles de style Régence sur fond amati, appliquée aux deux extrémités d'un masque d'homme barbu, les deux couvercles bordés de godrons et avec charnière centrale, gravés à l'identique et centrés d'une cartouche, la râpe à muscade ciselée sur le couvercle de rosettes, poinçons sur le fond: charge, lettre-date (G) et maître-orfèvre; dans le fond: décharge; dans les couvercles et sur la paroi des compartiments: maître-orfèvre; sur la râpe: décharge; sur le bord des couvercles: contrôle postérieur (crabe)
