A BRONZE OF SEATED YANGUANG NIANGNIANG - China, 17th c. - Sitting broad-legged, holding the attribute with the eye in both hands held in front of the chest. On the head three phoenixes as headdress. Garment border and scarf engraved with tendrils and blossoms. Remains of a lacquer with traces of gilding. - From an old private collection in southern Germany, supplemented by inheritance in the 1950s and acquisitions in the 1960s to the 1980s - Minor damages due to age and few small repairs

Breitbeinig auf einer Bank sitzend, auf einem Sockel, in beiden vor der Brust gehaltenen Händen das Attribut mit dem Auge haltend. Auf dem Kopf in der Art von Kopfputz drei Phönixe. Gewandborte und Schal mit Ranken und Blüten graviert. Reste einer Lackfassung mit Spuren von Vergoldung.
