Buchsbaum mit schöner Alterspatina. Rechteckige Tafel, der obere Rand in einen Spitzbogen auslaufend. Fein geschnitzte Darstellung des Leichnams Jesu auf dem Schoß Mariens. Zu seiner rechten Seite der trauernde Johannes, davor die kniende Maria Magdalena. Rückseite mit feinen Schwundrissen, Reste von Klebestreifen. Auf mit rotem Samt bezogenem älteren Präsentationsständer. Maße 18,5 x 9,5 cm.

Boxwood with fine age patina. Rectangular panel, the upper edge terminating in a pointed arch. Finely carved portrayal of Virgin Mary cradling the dead body of Jesus in her lap. John mourning to his right, Mary Magdalene kneeling at front. The reverse with fine shrinkage cracks, traces of adhesive tape. On an older display rack covered with red velvet. Dimensions 18.5 x 9.5 cm.
