Édition originale de cet important ouvrage, richemement illustré. Ce traité, le livre le plus important de Caramuel, est notamment remarquable pour sa tentative de reconstruction du Temple de Salomon, et pour l'application de l'anamorphose à des structures en volume. Il évoque enfin des structures architecturales du nouveau monde tel que l'église des Franciscains à Santo Domingo.
Il manque 6 planches sur les 170 requises - les exemplaires complets sont d'ailleurs rarissimes.
3 vol. in-4 (350 x 220 mm).1 titre-frontispice, 1 portrait gravé de l'auteur, 1 portrait de Juan José d'Autriche, et 161 planches gravées (sur 167 requises ; ces planches étant réunies dans le t. III); soit au total 164 planches sur 170. L'ouvrage est également illustré de gravures sur bois dans le texte (la Vierge à plusieurs reprises par exemple, ainsi que de nombreuses lettrines). (Plusieurs cahiers très brunis dans les deux volumes de texte, quelques mouillures, restauration discrète au titre du t. III, quelques piqûres). Reliure signée B. Vera : veau aubergine, encadrement doré et fleurons en écoiçons sur les plats, dos à nerfs, caissons ornés, pièce de titre, gardes de papier marbré. Étuis. (dos très insolés).

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
