USTC : 662810 ; Brunet, I, col. I, n°400 : “Cardano’s Ars magna systematically presented many new ideas in algebra, including the famous method, obtained from Tartaglia, and published without Tartaglia’s consent, for solving reduced third-degrees equations…On the basis of this work, Cardano is considered the originator of the theory of algebraic equations” ; Adams C-651 ; Dibner, Heralds, 103.
In-4 (292 x 195 mm).

» ( ?) -- Manuel de Foronda y Gómez (ex-libris).
