Jung’s correspondent, Alice Preiswerk-Maggi (1881-1961), was Jung’s cousin and the sister of Helene Preiswerk (1881-1911), one of Jung’s main subjects in his 1902 medical dissertation. Helene had psychic capabilities, and Jung’s seances with her formed the basis of his study.
