Kal. .45Colt, Nr. 308987 , nummerngleich. Fertigung 1909. Rauer, leicht narbiger Lauf, Länge 4 3/4". Auf dem Lauf bezeichnet "Colt's Pt.F.A.Mfg.Co.Hartford Ct.U.S.A.", links "38 W.C.F.", vorne am Rahmen drei Patente. Vollständige, mit Brandzeichen gravierte und vergoldete Waffe mit minimalen Tragespuren. Schlossgehäuse und Hahn ebenfalls graviert. Griffschalen aus Perlmutt mit leichten Fehlstellen, auf der rechten Griffschale mit einem Stierkopf versehen. Um die Jahrhundertwende ließen sich reiche Ranger oft ihre Waffen in dieser Art gravieren und vergolden. Mit Colt-Brief vom 4. Juni 1968. Dieses Stück ist abgebildet auf dem Umschlag und auf den Seiten 31 und 65 des Buches "Der Peacemaker" von Günter Schmitt. Ebenfalls abgebildet auf dem Titel des "Jubiläumskataloges 2000" der Firma Antique Firearms, Hartmut Burger, dort abgebildet auch auf der Seite 69. Sehr guter Zustand.

Cal. .45Colt, SN. 308987 , matching numbers. Made in 1909. Rough bore, slightly pitted barrel, length 4 3/4". The barrel marked "Colt's Pt.F.A.Mfg.Co.Hartford Ct.U.S.A.", left "38 W.C.F.", three patents at the front of the frame. Complete weapon, gilt and engraved with brand symbols, minimal traces of wear. Bolt housing and hammer also engraved. Mother-of-pearl grip panels with slight losses, a bull's head on the right grip panel. Around the turn of the century wealthy rangers often had their guns gold-plated and engraved in this fashion. With a letter from Colt dating from June 4th, 1968. The present gun is depicted on the cover of "Der Peacemaker" by Günter Schmitt and on pages 31 and 65 of the same book. Also depicted on the title of the "Jubiläumskatalog 2000" of Antique Firearms, Hartmut Burger, also depicted there on page 69. Very good condition.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
