Exemplaire sur papier fort de l'édition originale, joliment illustrée. Les deux derniers culs-de-lampe passent pour représenter la princesse de Lamballe, dédicataire de l'édition, amie et surintendante de la maison de Marie-Antoinette. Non sans malice, les bibliographes se plaisent à souligner le caractère prémonitoire du dernier, où la tête de la princesse, flottant dans le ciel, annonce son destin tragique, au bout d'une pique, lors des Massacres de septembre 1792. Édition originale, exemplaire sur papier fort. 4 gravures à pleine page, titre-frontispice, bandeau gravé aux armes de la princesse de Lamballe, dédicataire de l’édition, et 4 culs-de-lampe d’après Le Clerc (rousseurs et piqûres éparses, comme toujours avec cette édition). Reliure signée de Zaehnsdorf : maroquin rouge, dentelle dorée en encadrement des plats dans le goût des reliures du XVIIIe siècle, dos à nerfs et caissons ornés, doublures et gardes de soie verte, tranches dorées. Étui.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments.
