Gerade, zweischneidige, beidseitig doppelt gekehlte Klinge (fleckig, stellenweise narbig, schartig), die Fehlschärfe mit zwei außenliegenden Hohlkehlen und Solinger Signatur "P. Hend ... & Grah / ... olingen", im oberen Viertel terzseitig geätzt die Herrscherchiffre "W" unter Krone und auf der Gegenseite das braunschweigische Wappen. Eisernes Gefäß nach englischem Vorbild, im Korb die bekrönte Chiffre "W", Rochenhautgriff mit intakter dreifacher Drahtwicklung, schwarze Lederscheide (Knick) mit Eisenbeschlägen, am Mundblech ein Tragehaken, anhängend das braunschweigische Offiziersportepee. Leicht beschädigt, Altersspuren. Länge 97 cm. Sehr seltene, getragene Offizierswaffe.
Straight, double-edged blade with double fullers on both sides (stained, partly pitted, jagged), the ricasso with two fullers on the obverse and Solingen signature "P. Hend ... & Grah / ... olingen", the upper quarter with etched sovereign’s cypher "W" underneath a crown on the obverse and Brunswick coat of arms on the reverse. English-style iron hilt, the crowned cypher "W" inside the basket, ray skin grip with intact triple wire wrap, black leather scabbard (bent) with iron fittings, the locket with suspension hook, attached Brunswick officer’s sword knot. Slightly damaged, traces of age. Length 97 cm. Very rare, worn officer’s weapon.

Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
