Part-printed document signed by Charlie Parker in full, a U.S. Treasury Department Internal Revenue Services Form W-4: Employee’s Withholding Exemption Certificate, being Parker’s application for the marriage exemption for 1951, completed in Parker’s hand with his social security number and address ‘1535 Olive St K.C., Mo’, claiming for three dependants, dated 16 February 1951, and signed lower right in blue ballpoint pen ‘Charles Christopher Parker Jr’. A rare example of Parker signing with his full given name.

One paper slip, printed both sides, 87 x 200 mm; accompanied by a letter of provenance from Norman Saks. Provenance: The Norman R. Saks Collection (Vail, pl.72).
