Lescarbot’s innovative poem about Switzerland, with a reference to Canada as Nouvelle France in the dedication. An unusual work by one of the most famous characters of New France, who had accompanied an expedition to Acadia in 1606 and wrote prolifically in both poetry and prose. Sabin 40179.
