Achtkantige, mittig leicht eingezogene Läufe mit achtfach gezogenen Seelen im Kaliber 10 mm. Justierbare Visierung. Am Laufansatz graviert "Gussstahlrohr", auf der Laufoberseite in Gold eingelegte Signatur "F. Weiland in Cassel". Schlösser mit feiner Rankengravur und wiederholter Signatur, auf den Schlossplatten Darstellungen aus der Tell-Legende. Auf einer Schlossplatte die Darstellung des Apfelschusses, auf der zweiten der Mord am Burgvogt. Hähne mit klappbaren Pistonschonern. Abzüge mit justierbaren Stechern. Halbschäfte aus Nussbaumholz, die Kolben mit feinem Fischhautverschnitt. Fein gravierte eiserne Garnituren, auf den Abzugsbügeln die Darstellung der Athene. Länge je 42 cm. In zugehörigem Kasten aus schön gemasertem Nussbaumholz, die Kanten in Horn und Bein eingelegt. Deckel leicht verzogen, Schlüssel und Schlüsselschild fehlen. Das Innere mit rotem Samt ausgekleidet, beiliegend komplettes Zubehör bestehend aus Putz- und Ladestock, Pulverflasche, Schraubendreher, Pistonschlüssel, Pulvermaß und Kugelzange. Maße des Kastens 8 x 47 x 27 cm.

The octagonal barrels slightly constricted in the middle with eight-groove rifled bores in 10 mm calibre. Adjustable sights. Engraved "Gussstahlrohr" at the root of the barrels, the signature "F. Weiland in Cassel" inlaid in gold on the top. The locks with finely etched tendrils and repeated signatures, the lock plates featuring scenes from the Tell legend. The shooting of the apple depicted on one lock plate, the murder of the magistrate on the other. The cocks with folding nipple protectors. Adjustable set triggers. The half stocks in walnut, the butts with fine chequering. Finely engraved iron furniture, a depiction of Athena on the trigger guards. Length of each 42 cm. In the associated case of beautifully grained walnut, the edges inlaid in horn and bone. The lid slightly warped, the key and escutcheon have been lost. The interior lined in red velvet, containing a complete set of accessories comprising cleaning rod and ramrod, powder flask, screwdriver, nipple wrench, powder measure and bullet mould. Dimensions of the case 8 x 47 x 27 cm.
