Achtkantige, mittig leicht eingezogen Läufe mit siebenfach gezogenen Seelen im Kaliber 14 mm. Eingeschobene Visierung, über den Kammern gravierte Signatur. Fein gravierte Schlossplatten mit jagdlichen Szenen, signiert "Caspar Zellner in Wienn". Abzüge mit Stecher. Leicht verschnittene Vollschäfte aus fein gemasertem Nussbaumholz mit Nasen aus dunklem Horn. Ein Kloben im Bereich des Dioptersockels einseitig gesprungen. Garnituren aus graviertem Messing mit eingelassenen Dioptersockeln. Kolbenkästen mit federverriegelten Schubdeckeln. Hölzerne Ladestöcke mit Horndoppern. Länge je 114,5 cm.
Caspar Zellner (1661 - 1745) wird 1695 Meister, tätig in Salzburg und Wien.
A pair of flintlock rifles by Caspar Zellner, Vienna, circa 1730/40
Octagonal barrels slightly indented in the middle with seven-groove rifled bores in 14 mm calibre. Dovetailed sights, engraved signature at the breeches. Finely engraved lock plates with hunting scenes, signed "Caspar Zellner in Wienn". Set triggers. Slightly carved full stocks of finely grained walnut wood with noses of dark horn. A clamp at the diopter base cracked on one side. Furniture of engraved brass with embedded diopter bases. Patch boxes with spring-loaded sliding lids. Wooden ramrods with horn tips. Length of each 114.5 cm.
Caspar Zellner (1661 – 1745) became master in 1695 and worked in Salzburg and Vienna.
