Achtkantiger, mittig leicht eingezogener Damastlauf mit achtfach gezogener Seele im Kaliber 13 mm. Die Oberseite reich mit Bandwerk und Girlanden in Silber eingelegt, über der Kammer ein weiblicher Portraitkopf. Eingeschobene Visierung aus Messing und Stahl, goldgefüttertes Zündloch. Graviertes und geschnittenes Steinschloss, die messingplattierte Schlossplatte mit fein geschnittenen Auflagen in Form von Trophäenbündeln mit Siegesgöttin und Löwe. Unter der Batteriefeder signiert "I.W. á Cronach". Schlossgegenplatte aus graviertem Messing, Abzug mit Stecher. Reich verschnittener Vollschaft aus Nussbaumholz mit Nase aus dunklem Horn. Gravierte Messinggarnitur, Kolbenfach, der federverriegelte Schubdeckel mit sternförmiger Einlage aus Obstholz und Perlmutt. Die Wange ebenfalls mit Obstholz, Horn und Perlmutt eingelegt. Originaler hölzerner Ladestock mit Horndopper. Länge 76,5 cm.
Johann Wagner verbrachte seine Lehrzeit in Wien, als Büchsenmacher in Kronach von 1687 bis 1726 nachweisbar.

Octagonal Damascus barrel slightly indented in the middle with eight-groove rifled bore in 13 mm calibre. The upper side richly inlaid with silver scrollwork and garlands, at the breech a female portrait head. Brass and steel dovetailed sights, gold-lined vent hole. Engraved and cut flintlock, the brass-plated lock plate with finely cut appliqués in the shape of trophy bundles with goddess of victory and lion. Signed "I.W. á Cronach". underneath the frizzen spring. Lock side plate of engraved brass, set trigger. Lavishly carved walnut wood full stock with nose of dark horn. Engraved brass furniture, patch box, the spring-loaded sliding lid with star-shaped inlay of fruitwood and mother-of-pearl. The cheek rest equally inlaid with fruitwood, horn and mother-of-pearl. Original wooden ramrod with horn tip. Length 76.5 cm.
Johann Wagner spent his apprenticeship in Vienna and was recorded as gunsmith in Kronach between 1687 and 1726.
