A LACQUERED WOOD SEATED FIGURE OF AMIDA BUDDHA
Japan, Edo period Wood. H. ca. 57.5 cm. The Buddha seats in dhyanasana on a lotus platform surmounting a hexagonal base with several floors, with right hand in abhaya mudra and left hand in dhyana mudra resting on his thigh. He is dressed in a monastic robe with an elegant pleat covering his shoulders. With traces of age, min. damaged. Provenance: From a private collection in North Rhine-Westphalia, family-owned since the 1960s

Der Buddha sitzt in dhyanasana auf einer Lotusplattform, die eine sechseckige Basis mit mehreren Etagen überragt, mit der rechten Hand in abhaya mudra und der linken Hand in dhyana mudra auf seinem Oberschenkel ruhend. Er trägt eine Robe mit eleganten Falten, die seine Schultern bedecken. Min. besch., mit Altersspuren. Provenienz: Aus einer Privatsammlung in Nordrhein-Westfalen, seit den 1960er Jahren im Familienbesitz.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
