Schlanke, zweischneidige Klinge mit abgeflachtem Mittelgrat. Im oberen Drittel beidseitig doppelte Kehlung mit Zierdurchbrüchen. Asymmetrisch gearbeitete, tiefe Glocke mit umlaufendem vernieteten Brechrand. An der Klingenbasis vier geschnittene Muschelmotive, darüber durchbrochen gearbeiteter Ranken- und Blütendekor, beidseitig Blattmaskaronen. Terzseitig vergoldeter, ovaler Schild mit Wappenmotiv. S-förmig geschwungene Parierstange und Faustbügel mit geschnittenem Dekor. Oktagonale Hilze mit feiner Eisendrahtwicklung und Türkenbünden. Ovaler Knauf mit tiefgeschnittenen Blattmaskaronen zwischen Rankendekor. Länge 123 cm.
An Italian chiselled cup-hilt rapier, mid-17th century
The narrow, double-edged blade of flattened hexagonal section. Double fullers with ornamental perforations on both sides of the upper third. Asymmetrical, deep cup-hilt with a continuous, riveted flange. Four chased shell motifs at the base of the blade, above which are openwork tendrils and floral decoration, with leaf mascarons on both sides. A gilt, oval shield with a coat of arms on the obverse. S-shaped, curving quillons and the knuckle bow with chiselled décor. Octagonal grip with fine iron wire winding and Turk's heads. Oval pommel with deeply incised leaf mascarons amidst decorative tendrils. Length 123 cm.

Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
