Schlanke Stichklinge mit rhombischem Querschnitt, am Ansatz beidseitig schmale Kehlung. Kräftige Fehlschärfe mit mehrfach geschlagenen Lilienmarken. Flache Glocke mit getriebenem und geschnittenem Dekor auf goldplattiertem Grund. Darstellung von Reiterkämpfen zwischen Trophäenbündeln. Gerade, weit ausladende, spiralig gekehlte Parierstange. Originale Hilze mit feiner Wicklung aus Messingdraht und Türkenbünden. Eisengeschnittener Knauf mit beidseitiger Reiterdarstellung auf goldplattiertem Grund. Länge 122 cm.
A Dutch or Flemish cup-hilt rapier with chiselled decoration, mid-17th century
Slender thrusting blade of flattened diamond section, narrow fuller on both sides of the forte. Robust ricasso struck with multiple fleur-de-lys marks. Flat cup hilt with embossed and chiselled décor on gilt base. Decorated with cavalry battle scenes between trophy bundles. Straight, long, spirally twisted quillons. Original grip bound with fine brass wire and Turk's heads. Chiselled iron pommel with ambilateral depiction of horsemen on gilt base. Length 122 cm.

Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
