Bronze, vergoldet (berieben), an der Plinthe die Künstlersignatur "Pinedo". Kaiser Napoleon I., aufrecht sitzend zu Pferd. Detailliert wiedergegebene Kleidung und Ausrüstung (Degen, Fernrohr, Zaumzeug, Steigbügel), hervorragende Anatomie des Pferdes. Auf profiliertem, teilvergoldetem Sockel aus grünem, weiß geädertem Marmor, schauseitig aufgelegt die vergoldete Herrscherchiffre "N" unter Krone. Linke Spore fehlt, vereinzelt minimale Chips, Gebrauchs- und Altersspuren. Maße 18,5 x 9 x 26 cm.
Sehr feine, detailliert und schön gestaltete Figur.

Gilt bronze (rubbed), the artist's signature "Pinedo" on the base. Emperor Napoleon I on horseback. Accurately portrayed attire and accessories (sword, field glass, tack, stirrups), excellent equine anatomy. On trimmed, part-gilt base of green marble with white veins, applied to the obverse the gilt "N" cipher surmounted by a crown. Left spur missing, minimal chippings here and there, signs of use and age. Dimensions 18.5 x 9 x 26 cm.
Very fine, detailed, and elegantly modelled figure.
