Fire-gilded bronze, wood, France, circa 1820, 7-day brass movement with half-hour chime on bell, thread suspension, 37 x 28 x 9 cm, tall, stepped rectangular base, covered on three sides with relief vine and vine leaf frieze. Pan flutes, carafes and masks on the front. Centred, tall rectangular clock case on the front with a fruit basket. To the right and left of it, Bacchus and a Bacchante. An additional element is missing from his hand, possibly a thyrsus. Adjusting key and pendulum for thread suspension present. Clock not working, traces of corrosion, partially rubbed with fine scratches.
