France, circa 1800 Bronze, fire-gilded, spring-wound, lock disc striking mechanism, spiral spring with regulating spring, typical of Parisian round movements around 1800, 30 x 20 x 12 cm, clock in working order, the clock is crowned by a male bust, presumably Aeneas, as there are two harpies on the left and right, whose claws stand on small pedestals. Hinge of the glass pane no longer completely intact, partially minimally rubbed and isolated traces of corrosion.
