1880 Aschaffenburg - 1938 Davos Berganemonen (Pelzanemonen). 1920er Jahre Links unten mit Bleistift signiert "E L Kirchner". Verso mit dem Nachlass-Stempel (Lugt 1570 b) und bezeichnet "A Da/ Ac 10". Aquarell über Bleistift auf chamoisfarbenem Zeichenpapier. 35 x 46,5 cm. Rahmen. Das Aquarell ist wohl auf dem Wildboden in Davos in den 1920er Jahren entstanden. So schreibt Kirchner unter dem Pseudonym Louis de Marsalle 1922 im Katalog seiner Ausstellung bei Ludwig Schames in Frankfurt am Main über seine Arbeiten jener Zeit auf der Stafelalp: "Die karge und doch so intime Natur des Hochgebirges hat einen großen Einfluß auf den Maler gehabt. Sie hat seine Liebe zu den Gegenständen vertieft und gleichzeitig seine Konzeption von allem Nebensächlichen gereinigt. Nichts Unnötiges erscheint auf den Bildern, aber wie zärtlich ist jedes nötige Detail durchgearbeitet! Stark und nackt tritt in der fertigen Arbeit der schöpferische Gedanke hervor." Ernst Ludwig Kirchner bediente sich der fiktiven Person de Marsalle, um über sich selbst zu schreiben und baute sie zum Zwecke der Kommerzialisierung als Kunstkritiker auf. Als das Vertrauen zur Existenz de Marsalles in Kunstkreisen rund um Kirchner mit der Zeit schwand, weil ihn niemand kannte, ließ Ernst Ludwig Kirchner de Marsalle Anfang 1933 sterben. The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
