Lot 5088 | Eva Braun - große Pelzstola aus Iltisfell
Schön erhaltene Iltisfelle mit weißer und hellbrauner Färbung, die Rückseite mit schwarzem Samt unterfüttert. In einer Ecke des Samts ein vernähtes schwarzes Seidenetikett mit purpurfarben gesticktem Monogramm "EB" in der typischen Kleeblattform. Maße ca. 210 x 40 cm. Aufgrund der hellen Färbung dürfte es sich um Iltis-Winterfelle handeln.
Provenienz: Commanding Intelligence Officer of the District Greater Salzburg L. Frankenfield, der im Mai 1945 in der Nähe von Salzburg mehr als 40 Koffer mit persönlichen Gegenständen von Eva Braun, ihrer Schwester Gretl Braun-Fegelein und Hermann Fegelein beschlagnahmt hatte.
The polecat pelts in fine condition, with white and light brown colouring, the back lined in black velvet. A black silk label with the purple embroidered monogram "EB" in the typical four-leaf clover form sewn into one corner of the velvet. Dimensions approx. 210 x 40 cm. The light colouring suggests that the stole is made of polecat winter fur.
Provenance: Commanding Intelligence Officer of the District Greater Salzburg L. Frankenfield, who confiscated over 40 suitcases containing personal items belonging to Eva Braun, her sister Gretl Braun-Fegelein and Hermann Fegelein, near Salzburg in May 1945.
