Persia, 13./14. CenturyD. 20 cm"Lajvardina" derives from the Persian word "Lajvard" for Lapis Lazuli, and was a special ceramic production, which was estimated under the Iklhaniden (1256-1353). The ceramic was burned twice, the first Time with a rich Kobaltton, or in turquoise, the second Time after fine detail decoration, usually with white and red line decoration and partial gold highlights with gold discs awarded to these fine shells, a particularly luxurious character, and, therefore, a well-to-do worked were layer reserved.Broken and restored.
