Field-grey heavy wool with four scalloped and pleated pockets, five button front, a bottle-green badge cloth collar with single hook closure and bright chrome silver dish buttons. Machine-woven enlisted eagle, factory-applied, collar tabs of grey woven litze with white centerline and piping on dark-green backing, machine applied. Shoulder straps of dark green backing with chain stitched gothic letters "UV" and Wehrkreis Roman numeral "IX". Right sleeve has a bluish-dark green cufftitle machine-woven with silver Gothic lettering "Unteroffiziervorschule". Fully lined in grey twill with size and manufacturer stamps on left side panel, provision for two silver buttons as rear belt ramp support. Soiling to left front lower panel.
