Field-grey heavy wool, single breasted style unique to Heer Officer Schools, two angled slash hip pockets with flaps, French cuffs, bottle-green cloth collar, rear waist belt strap and six bright chrome silver dish buttons. Field-grey shoulder straps piped in white rayon with white chain-stitched Gothic letters "UV" and Roman numeral "VI" indicating Wehrkreis, red twist cord at base to indicate NCO candidate artillery. Right sleeve has a bluish-dark green cuff title machine-woven with silver Gothic lettering "Unteroffiziervorschule". Partial field-grey twill lining with manufacturer, size and depot stampings on left panel. Inside slit breast pocket and two waist bag pockets.
