Kräftige, zweischneidige Klinge mit beidseitig flacher Kehlung. Beidseitig doppelt geschlagene Halbmondmarken. Am Klingenansatz terzseitig die fein gravierte und ziselierte Darstellung des Hl. Georg, auf der Gegenseite ein Wappenschild mit Trophäenbündel. Die Klingendekoration wohl eine Zutat des 19. Jhdts. S-förmig geschwungene Parierstange mit geschnittenem und ziseliertem Dekor. Terzseitig ein geschweifter Parierbügel, ein Daumenring. Spiralig gekehlte Hilze mit eiserner Griffwicklung und Türkenbünden aus Kupferdraht. Knauf in Löwenkopfform mit fein geschnittenen und ziselierten Details. Länge 101 cm.

An Austrian or Swiss campaign sword with lion head pommel, assembled from old parts, circa 1580
Sturdy double-edged blade with flat fuller on each face. Crescent moon marks struck twice on either side. The forte decorated on the obverse with a finely engraved and chased portrayal of St. George, the reverse with a coat of arms and trophy bundle. The decoration of the blade probably an addition from the 19th century, recurved quillons with chiselled and chased decorations. The obverse with a curved guard bar, one thumb ring. Spirally fluted grip with iron wrap and Turk's heads of copper wire. Lion head pommel with finely chiselled and chased details. Length 101 cm.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
