Rötelstift und schwarze Kreide auf Papier. Sehr fein gezeichnete, italienisch anmutende Landschaft mit Kiefern. Im Hintergrund erstreckt sich weites Gebirge im Licht der Sonne. Im vergoldeten, mit Schwänen stuckierten Rahmen, hinter Glas. Maße Zeichnung 28 x 39,5 cm.
Ferdinand Oliver (1786 - 1841) war ein deutscher Maler und Grafiker. Oliver gilt als einer der wichtigsten Vertreter der Nazarener. Er war u.a. Generalsekretär der Münchner Akademie für Bildende Künste und Professor für Kunstgeschichte.

Ferdinand Oliver (1786 - 1841) was a German painter, one of the most important representatives of the Nazarenes. Amongst others he was General Secretary of the Munich Academy of Art and professor for the history of art.
