Porcelain, coloured and gold equipped. On a rectangular Socket with gold-plated sheet clips on the corners of the standing
Figure of the "chamber hussar" Schindler. At his feet is a brown gescheckter, barking
Dog. The "chamber hussar" dressed buttons in yellow boots and a waistcoat with Gold and
his head is a fur hat-supporting. Under his right Arm a bag-pipe, worked
from the bellows of a Geißbocks. Height 17.5 cm.
Sword brand. Condition C.

The "chamber hussar" Schindler was one of the three jesters at the court of August the Strong.
"Together with the court jester Fröhlich and Schmiedel of the "chamber hussar" Schindler decides to jester since the middle ages the Tradition of Saxon." (Early Meissen Porcelain, 1997, P. 244)
