Szenische Darstellung der auf Wolken ruhenden Venus mit zwei weiteren Nymphen und vier Putti, die Blumengirlanden in den Händen halten, wohl als Allegorie des Frühlings. Komposition, Motiv und Stil spiegeln in evidenter Weise den prägenden Einfluss Bouchers wider, der zahlreiche vergleichbare Szenen malte. Seit Charles Le Brun hatte kein einziger französischer Künstler ein solches Monopol auf die Gemälde einer bestimmten Gesellschaft und die Kunst seiner Zeit so beeinflusst wie Boucher. Sein Oeuvre repräsentiert das französische Rokoko in seiner reinsten Form. Es umfasst sowohl galante Szenen als auch laszive, allegorische und mythologische Motive, u. a. Darstellungen mit Venus, Nymphen und Amoretten. Bouchers Produktion war erstaunlich - in seiner florierenden Werkstatt entstanden zahlreiche Gemälde und auch der emsig arbeitende Meister befriedigte die große Nachfrage durch eigenhändige Repliken. In den 1730er Jahren erstmals von der Krone protegiert, führte er bis zu seinem Tod 1770 zahlreiche Aufträge für König Ludwig XV. und die Marquise de Pompadour aus. Öl/Lwd. 73 cm x 62 cm. Rahmen.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
