Inscribed "telle que jétai 1808" on the banderole of the frame. Watercolour and opaque paints on ivory. 4.7 x 3.7 cm (in the high oval) cm. Framed with gold cord, laid on hair work. Pointed elliptical, 585 yellow gold frame (7 x 17 cm). This is set in polished black stone (3.8 x 18.5 x 9.1 cm).
Nachdem die Banderole rückblickend ("telle que jétais" i.
The miniature was not deframed for the description for conservation reasons.
