The French cabinet made of faience belongs to the extraordinarily rare "ameublement de luxe", which were made for large doll's houses in France and Russia in the time of Napoléon III. The furniture imitates a 17th century Baroque cabinet. Although no marks are present, the furniture may be attributed to the Sèvres manufacture.
