SN 12037. Die linke Abdeckung gemarkt "Fratelli Koristka / 7X50", die rechte mit Firmenlogo über "R.M.I.", daneben seitlich "Smg". ("R.M.I." = Regia Marina Italiana = Königl. Ital. Marine; "Smg" = Sommergibili = U-Boote). Beidseitige Okularverstellung leichtgängig. Strichplatte rechts. Messinggehäuse. Das ganze Glas generalüberholt, Belederung erneuert, nachlackiert, der Lack mit etwas Randabrieb. Gewicht 1,25 kg. Durchsicht 1-. Produktionsdatum Anfang der 1940er. Sehr seltenes Glas!
1880 gründeten die Brüder Koristka in Mailand ihr Unternehmen zur Herstellung optischer Geräte. 1929 ging das Unetrnehmen in den "Officine Galilei" auf, produzierte aber weiterhin Ferngläser unter eigenem Namen, wenn auch nur in geringer Stückzahl.

SN 12037. The left cover marked "Fratelli Koristka / 7X50", the right one with company logo above "R.M.I.", laterally marked "Smg". ("R.M.I." = Regia Marina Italiana = Royal Italian Navy; "Smg" = Sommergibili = Submarines). Smooth diopter adjustment. Graticule on the right side. Brass case. Leatherette and black paint renewed, the paint with some edge wear. Weight 1,25 kg. Transparency 1-. Made in the beginning of the 1940ies. A very rare binocular!
The Koristka Brothers established their optical company in 1880 in Milano, Italy. Sold to "Officine Galileo" in 1929 the y continued to make binoculars under their own brand name, albeit in rather limited quantities.
La ditta Fratelli Koristka viene fondata da Francesco Koristka nel 1880 a Milano ed era sopratutto conosciuto per la costruzione di microscopi. Nel 1929 fu assorbita dalle "Officine Galileo" di Firenze, ma continuava la produzione di binocoli sotto il proprio marchio, sebbene in quantitá molto limitata.
