Doppelbogen (Maße 24 x 19,5 cm), gefaltet, fleckig. Der König gibt von Wegner auf dessen Schreiben zur Antwort, dass "Oberlieutenant Bolstern [.] als welcher seine instruction bereits empfangen hat, und so wohl zu Kuttenberg, als über die übrigen Grenad. Compagnien so annoch in Böhmen zurück bleiben, das Commando haben soll. Ich bin Euer wohlaffectionierter König", mit eigenhändiger Tintenunterschrift "Friedrich", datiert "Im Lager bey Kuttenberg den 24t Juny 1742", am linken Unterrand adressiert "An d. Capitain v. Wegner v. Flansch(en) Regiment".
Am 17. Mai 1742 ging Friedrich der Große trotz großer Verluste als Sieger aus der Schlacht von Chotusitz (Kuttenberg) hervor, der Präliminarfrieden von Breslau am 11. Juni 1742, bestätigt durch den endgültigen Friedensvertrag von Berlin am 28. Juli, beendete den Ersten Schlesischen Krieg, der dem König Ober- und Niederschlesien einbrachte.
Vermutlich handelt es sich bei Capitain von Wegner um den späteren Oberst und Chef des Magdeburger Land-Regiments Johann Christoph von Wegnern (1702 - 1774), der damals wohl im Infanterieregiment von Flanß (Nr. 16) diente.
