Breite 48,7 mm, Gewicht 22,5 g. Das Eichenlaub mit rs. Feingehalt "900", "Silber" und der LDO-Nummer "L/50" für Gebrüder Godet & Co. Berlin. Tragespuren. Abmessungen 19,2 x 20 mm, an konfektioniertem Halsband mit Tragespuren.
Martin Fiebig (1891 - 1947), 1910 Fähnrich im IR 18, bei Kriegsbeginn Bataillonsadjutant, 1915 bis Kriegsende Flugzeug- und Staffelführer. 1924 Leiter einer Gruppe von Militärspezialisten auf dem Gebiet der Luftwaffenentwicklung, 1926 - 1934 Flugleiter bei der Deutschen Lufthansa. 1934 Major, 1936 - 1938 Kommandeur der Kampffliegerschule in Faßberg. 1938 - 1940 Oberst und Kommodore des KG 253 bzw. 4 "General Wever". Am 10.05.1940 über Holland abgeschossen und vorübergehend in Kriegsgefangenschaft. Ritterkreuz am 08.05.1940. 1942 Kommandeur der 1. Flieger-Division, Kommandierender General des VIII. Fliegerkorps, 1943 des X. Fliegerkorps. Eichenlaub am 23.12.42. Befehlshaber des Luftwaffenkommandos Südost. 1944 Führerreserve. 1945 Kommandierender General des II. Fliegerkorps, später Befehlshaber des Luftwaffenkommandos Nordost. Im Oktober 1947 in Jugoslawien hingerichtet.

The Knight's Cross from the early production series of the manufacturer C. E. Juncker of Berlin, unstamped, with a blackened iron core in a nickel-silver frame. Both with the typical embossed features. Width 48.7 mm. Weight 22.5 g.
The back of the oak leaves with the mark of fineness "900", "Silber" and the LDO number "L/50" for Gebrüder Godet & Co. of Berlin. Signs of wear. Dimensions 19.2 x 20 mm, on the customised neck ribbon with signs of wear.
Martin Fiebig (1891 - 1947) was a Fähnrich in IR 18 in 1910, rising to Bataillonsadjutant when war broke out, then aircraft and squadron leader from 1915 until the end of the war. In 1924, he headed a group of military specialists in air force weapons development and served as flight director at Deutsche Lufthansa from 1926 to 1934. Promoted to Major in 1934 and Commander of the Kampffliegerschule in Faßberg from 1936 to 1938. Oberst and Kommodore of Kampfgeschwader 253 and 4 "General Wever" from 1938 to 1940. He was shot down over Holland on 10 May 1940 and temporarily interred in a prisoner of war camp. Awarded the Knight's Cross on 8 May 1940. He rose to commander of the 1st Flieger Division, Commander-in-Chief of the VIII Fliegerkorps in 1942, of the X Fliegerkorps in 1943. Awarded the Oak Leaves on 23 December 1942. Appointed commander of the Luftwaffe Commando South East. Führerreserve in 1944. Commander-in-Chief of the II Fliegerkorps in 1945, subsequently appointed commander of the Luftwaffe Commando North East. Executed in Yugoslavia in October 1947.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
