Steckrückenklinge mit Schör, die terzseitige Kartusche mit entsprechender Widmung, die quartseitige mit dem Familiennamen "Vossieg" sowie dem Herstellerlogo von Alcoso, Solingen. Feuervergoldetes Messingbügelgefäß mit graviertem Dekor, der terzseitige Parierlappen mit den gekreuzten Kanonenrohren der Artillerie, quartseitig monogrammiert "HV" (= Helmut Vossieg), schwarzer Kunststoffgriff (alte Reparatur unterhalb des Knaufes) mit Drahtwicklung. Brünierte Stahlscheide. Länge 93 cm.
The pipe-backed blade with yelmen, the obverse cartouche with the above dedication, the reverse cartouche inscribed with the surname "Vossieg" and the manufacturer's logo of Alcoso, Solingen. Fire-gilt brass knuckle-bow hilt with engraved ornamentation, the obverse languet with the crossed cannon barrels of the artillery, monogrammed "HV" (= Helmut Vossieg) on the reverse, black plastic grip (an old repair below the pommel) with wire winding. Burnished steel scabbard. Length 93 cm.
