Halbkugelige Schale mit hohem Standring, dessen Fuß deutlich nach außen gestellt ist. Die halbkugelige Schale mit beigefarbener Glasur als Grundton überzogen. Innen und außen mit Ritzverzierung versehen, deren Tiefen durch dunkelbraune Farbe hervorgehoben werden. Auf der abgerundeten Randlippe Tupfen von Glasur in derselben dunkelbraunen Farbe. In der unteren Hälfte die Drehrillen von der Fertigung auf der Töpferscheibe sichtbar. Innen im Boden Kreis mit Kreuz, in den Quadraten Blumen, oben knapp unterhalb des Randes Rauten zwischen zwei ringsum verlaufenden Linien. In den Dreiecken zwischen den Rauten Blüten. Außen knapp oberhalb der Mitte kommaförmige Dellen ringsherum eingedrückt, darüber alternierend Winkel und Spiralen. Direkt unterhalb des Randes zwei ringsum verlaufende Linien. Abgesehen von kleinen Abplatzungen der Glasur sehr gut erhaltenes und repräsentatives Beispiel mittelbyzantinischer Sgraffito-Ware. Höhe 8 cm. Durchmesser 13 cm.

Hemispherical bowl with high ring stand, the base of which protrudes clearly outwards. The hemispherical bowl with an overglaze, the basic shade of which is beige. The inner and exterior surfaces with incised decoration, highlighted in dark brown. Dabs of glaze in the same shade of dark brown have been applied to the rounded rim. The turning grooves from the potter's wheel are visible on the lower half. A circle on the inside of the base shows a cross, interspersed with flowers, above which, lozenges are set between two horizontal lines, just below the rim. Flowers in the triangular spaces between the lozenges. On the outside, just above the middle, comma-shaped indentations are depressed all around, below alternating angles and spirals. Two horizontal lines running directly below the rim. Apart from minor spalling of the glaze, a distinguished piece of Middle Byzantine sgraffito ware in beautiful condition. Height 8 cm. Diameter 13 cm

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
