Zweischneidige Klinge mit beidseitiger schmaler Kehlung. Einseitig in Gold eingelegte abgekürzte Inschrift "DICNLACDICLAE", darüber Blattornament und stilisierter Adler. Auf der Gegenseite in Bronze eingelegtes Tatzenkreuz in Kreis. Gerade Parierstange, die runden Arme nach außen leicht konisch verbreitert. Kräftige, leicht konische Angel mit querovalem Scheibenknauf. Kleiner quadratischer Vernietknauf aus Bronze. Länge 104 cm.

A German Gothic medieval sword with gold-inlaid blade, circa 1250
The double-edged blade with shallow fullers on both sides. The abbreviated inscription "DICNLACDICLAE" inlaid in gold on one side, above which a leaf ornament and a stylised eagle. A bronze-inlaid cross pattée in a circle on the opposite side. Straight quillons, the round arms widening conically outwards slightly. Sturdy, slightly tapered tang with a horizontal oval disc pommel. Small, square, riveted finial in bronze. Length 104 cm.

Choose a lot from the upcoming auction and the maximum amount you want to place on it. After confirmation of your choice, we will send your application by e-mail to the appropriate auction house. If the auction house accepts a request, it will participate in the auction. You can view the current status of a bid at any time in your personal account in the "Bids" section.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
